The Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder in Light has been a part of my everyday makeup routine ever since I purchased it. I've heard so much about this contour powder but didn't think it was necessary until I got tired of the contour powders I have in my collection. This blends effortlessly on my skin, and I've had a difficult time with other powders that looked patchy and muddy even after trying to blend it for 5 minutes.
I was considering getting the medium shade since I believe it was the first shade in the collection, but figured light would look more natural on me. I didn't swatch this before ordering it online since it wasn't available in the Sephora near me, but light was the right contour shade for me. When I dip my brush into the powder it does kick up some product but it's not a big deal, you only need a few swipes with your brush and your contour will come out perfectly. I never really hit pan on my products, but I'm already seeing a huge dent with this. It retails for $44 so it''s really going to hurt my wallet when I purchase a new one.If you're someone who has problems finding the right contour shade, I definitely recommend you pick this one up. It's finely milled, extremely pigmented and easy to blend. Unfortunately it's pricy, but it's lasted me a long time now. I have yet to find a contour powder as easy to use as this one and once I hit pan I will buy the medium shade.
What is your favorite contour powder?
This looks perfect for my fair skin! How I wish KA was more accessible over here in Singapore! :( Thanks for sharing.
