Favorite Fall Lipsticks

So I'm starting to reach for darker lipsticks, most of the time I stick to my pink and nude colors. But of course when it's the colder months which means hot drinks, scarves, and coats; that's the time where I feel most comfortable wearing a bolder lipstick color. Weird right? I wish I wore bolder lipsticks on the everyday basis but I always tend to stick to my typical pinky nude colors. But this fall I'm going to be making myself wear darker lipsticks more often. I only have a few in my collection, but when I think of fall lip colors these are the ones I think about.

MAC Paramount Lipstick: This is probably the darkest lipstick I own. It's more of a reddish brown but sometimes I feel like it has a purple tint to it. The only thing about this, is that I haven't found the right lipliner to pair it with. But on it's own it really is beautiful, I'm just horrible at applying dark lipstick because it could get everywhere!

Kat Von D Bow n Arrow Liquid Lipstick: Oh my goodness....when I first swatched this lip color at Sephora I thought it looked hideous. It looked extremely brown and I wasn't sure how I felt about that color. But as I was at home thinking of what new lipsticks to order, this shade kept popping into my head. I was thinking about how many liners I could pair it with to make the color a little less brown and so I ordered it. The thing was it looked different on my lips than it did on my hand. On an everyday basis I'll pair this with a pink liner and that'll be my lip color. But on days I want to wear something a little darker I'll wear this alone and it looks stunning!

Colourpop Tootsi: I absolutely love Colourpop lipsticks! They're just as good as high end lipsticks and this color is a cool toned brown/purple color which I love. I don't have anything else like it and I think it's a perfect color to have for the fall. I've been wearing this one almost everyday now.

MAC Ruby Woo Lipstick: This was my first red lipstick and I think it suits me really well. I actually wore this during a few job interviews and college interviews. For me red lipstick looks very professional and sophisticated but I love wearing it on special occasions more than I do everyday.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Amsterdam: I'm obsessed with the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream's so when I saw that there was a red I knew I had to have it. This is more on the brighter red side. When I wear this it's usually in the morning and I love how it doesn't get everywhere.

I know that this fall I will definitely be buying more darker lipsticks (and wearing more of course), I used to hate wearing it because I thought it looked bad on me but this year I've been trying out more lip colors. Fall is the perfect time to wear darker lipsticks and I've really been trying to get into that trend.
